Drivers in Drafft receive fuel recommendations and interact with the AI agents through Telegram. Adding a driver involves creating their profile and sending a Telegram invite.

Viewing your driver list

Go to Fleet → Drivers to see all drivers. Each row shows name, assigned truck (if any), Telegram link status, and last activity.

Adding a driver

1. Go to Fleet → Drivers.
2. Click Add Driver.
3. Enter the driver's name, phone number, and CDL number (optional).
4. Click Save.

The driver is added to your roster but is not yet connected to Telegram.

Inviting a driver to Telegram

Drivers receive fuel recommendations and interact with AI agents through your fleet's Telegram dispatch group. To connect a driver:

1. Go to Drivers → Invite.
2. Select the driver from the list.
3. Click Send Invite Link — this generates a one-time link.
4. Share the link with the driver via text or WhatsApp.

The driver opens the link, which launches Telegram and starts a conversation with the Drafft bot. They tap Start to link their Telegram account to their Drafft profile.

Once linked, their Telegram status changes to Connected in the driver list.

Assigning a driver to a truck

Assignments are managed in the vehicle detail page. Open the truck in Fleet → Assets, go to the Config tab, and select the current driver from the dropdown. Fuel recommendations will address the assigned driver by name.
